PROJECT: CAMP MALKA WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
OWNER: GREENVILLELAND LLC.
ENGINEER: CRAWFORD AND ASSOCIATES & SANTOS ASSOCIATES
LOCATION: GREENVILLE N.Y.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Project involved the complete installation of a sewage treatment plant capable of treating 27,000 gallons of sewage per day.
- Treatment plant was a Bioclere system supplied by Aquapoint systems and designed to naturally breakdown sewage and make it safe for discharge without the use of harsh chemicals.
- The first stage of this project was to build a mechanical building for all processing equipment. Blower units, sand filers and UV lights were then installed along with all control panels.
- 3 bioclere units were then installed according to specifications, aquapoint field technicians were on site for the proper installation of these units.
- All precast concrete tanks were supplied by Fort Miller and installed according to plans. Excavated material was trucked out and all tanks were backfilled with stone to minimize settlement between tanks.
- A network of piping was then installed between tanks and entire area was then backfilled.
- Pump stations, aeration pumps, aeration grids and media were installed in concrete tanks to make the system operate according to specifications.
- Upon completion of all electrical work, field technicians from aquapoint preformed startup of system and put into operation.
- Total length of project took 45 days to completion.
