SCOPE OF WORK:
- Project involved repairing stream bank due to erosion from steam and compromising existing structures.
- First stage of project was to install a coffer dam in the stream bed to minimize disturbance and prevent any silt runoff into stream during construction.
- 110ft of stream bank was then excavated and graded to prepare for a geo-textile fabric and 6” item #4 base.
- A heavy rip-rap which individual stones had to be no less then 150lbs and no more then 750lbs were then installed on top of item#4 with a minimum thickness of 3ft.
- Topsoil, seeded and mulched all disturbed areas.
- Upon completion and approval, coffer dam was removed.
- Total length of project was 20 days.
