Sidewalk Renovation Project

• Project involved the removal of existing sidewalks and curbing and disposing of off site. Total length was roughly 900ft.
• Excavated to grade and installed item#4 sub-base material and compacted.
• Slip formed new 6” wide by 18” deep concrete curbing with a 6” reveal at pavement and transitions at driveways and walkways. Mix design was a class J curb mix.
• Formed out and poured 5ft wide x 900ft long concrete sidewalk along new curbing. Expansion joints were set every 20ft, wire reinforced and received a broom finish. Driveways were poured 6” thick while remainder was 4” thick. Mix design was a class A  4000psi sidewalk mix.
• Reclaimed all disturbed areas, topsoil, seed and mulch and installed asphalt against new curbing.
• Total length of project took about 10 days.
