PROJECT: MAIN STREET CATSKILL STREETSCAPE PROJECT

VALUE: $207,538.20
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Project involved installation of roughly 5ft x 3500ft of new concrete sidewalks and 6” curbing.
- Excavation and removal of existing concrete sidewalks and curbing off site.
- Installation and compaction of item #4 for sub-base to grade.
- Slip-formed new concrete curbing with a class J mix on both sides of street.
- Formed out and poured new concrete sidewalks with a class A 4000psi sidewalk mix design, wire reinforcement, expansion joints every 20ft and received a broom finish.
- North side of street, sidewalk was poured up to new curbing
- South side of street was poured away from curbing to allow for a stamped asphalt between curbing and sidewalk. Stamped asphalt design was a brick pattern and red epoxy paint was applied over it.
- A pocket park was installed with stamped concrete along new sidewalk which included benches, tree grates and trees and a new ornamental fence overlooking Waters Edge. Stamp design was an random ashlar slate pattern, color was integrated in the mix and concrete was sealed.
- All new concrete was than sealed to protect against salt damage.
- Installed asphalt parking area, repaired driveways, walkways and reclaimed all disturbed areas.
- Total length of project took 90 days.
